Victorian Demographic Profile - Updated

Price WaterhouseCoopers were engaged to undertake a demographic analysis to better understand respite care needs and care availability in Victoria.

Price WaterhouseCoopers have analysed demographic data for each local government area in Victoria. This will assist NRCP providers to better understand the need for care in each region. The data focuses on the aged population, as well as populations with specific needs, such as CALD, populations, areas of high disability and dementia, high and low socio-economic areas and indigenous populations. Data has been collated on care provision and care finding in each region including residential aged care places and HACC funding. It is the most comprehensive demographic data on local government areas currently available utilising publicly available data.
